This is the question that has been asked by a number of our readers. Pahal DBTL Scheme (LPG Subsidy) is an ambitious government program. From 31st March 2015 onward you will have to pay market rate price for your domestic LPG Gas cylinder and the LPG Subsidy amount will be credited back in your bank. You will pay the market rate for LPG Gas from 1st April 2015 but the LPG Subsidy amount should have been credited in your banks.
What will be the exact LPG Subsidy that will be credited in our Bank?
Will the answer is not that straight forward. Since the LPG Subsidy amount varies in different states so the amount will not be same, also since the LPG Subsidy amount varies from time to time based on the international crude oil price. The Subsidy amount mentioned below are as on 4th January 2015.

Exact amount is still not clear but as per 4th January 2014 you should receive an amount of Rs 291.5 in your bank account as the form of LPG Subsidy.

LPG Subsidy amount for Mumbai and Maharastra would be around Rs 273
Current LPG Subsidy amount in Chennai and Tamil Nadu (TN)
LPG Subsidy amount in Chennai and Tamil Nadu is Rs 300.5
Current LPG Subsidy amount in Kolkata and West Bengal
Current LPG Subsidy amount in Kolkata and West Bengal is Rs 327
Please note that this subsidy is valid for first 12 cylinders in a financial year which starts from April to March. If you want to purchase more then 12 cylinders in a financial year then you will not be credited subsidized amount into your bank account.
